Living rooms design

Make your guests feel at home by decorating their bedroom in beautiful fashionable neutral colours such as duck egg blue or muted silver grey are kind to the eye and provide a cool chic look.

Guest bedrooms are notoriously one of the smallest bedrooms, as such you should make them feel as light and airy as possible as well as maximising the limited space at every opportunity.

Whether you have twin beds or a double is a matter of choice and to some extent the age of the people you have to stay! Many people opt for twin beds as these accommodate most guests sleeping preferences rather than a double! If your guests really oppose to sleeping in different beds you always have the option of pushing twin beds together if necessary although this option will depend wholly on the interior design style of the room.

White bedding is a good choice as this will coordinate well with the décor and offers clean lines. Add personal touches to the room such as pretty canopy drapes over the bed, those who live in the country or warmer climates may prefer to swap these for practical mosquito nets to protect guests from being bitten while they sleep!
